Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Automated Warehouse Specialist to support operations within our automated warehouse environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in automated logistics systems and a strong foundation in technical documentation. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and refining operational processes, supporting manual operations, and contributing to the transition toward full automation.
Job Description:
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in automated warehouse operations.Assist in drafting and refining documentation for warehouse processes, collaborating with technical writers.Support manual operations on a rotational basis (e.g., forklift operation).Contribute to the development and implementation of automated documentation systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and improve operational efficiencies.Align with front-line operators, leads, and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.Support onboarding and training efforts as automation expands.Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in an automated environment.Experience with SAP WM, ASRS, or similar warehouse management systems is a plus.Experience in technical writing or documentation development preferred.Ability to operate manual equipment (e.g., forklifts) and transition into SME responsibilities.Strong problem-solving and communication skills.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
