Our client, a growing and well-established manufacturer in New Prague, MN, is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both detailed design work and working collaboratively across teams and with customers. AutoCAD proficiency is a must.  This is a direct hire opening!

Job Title:  AutoCAD Drafter
Location:  New Prague, MN
Salary:  80-90k

Key Responsibilities:

Create detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD for new product designs, modifications, and manufacturing support. Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and project management teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility. Partner directly with customers to understand project requirements, gather feedback, and coordinate design deliverables. Support project timelines by tracking drawing revisions, documentation, and communicating progress effectively. Assist in maintaining drawing standards and ensuring compliance with internal and customer specifications.Requirements: AAS in drafting and design or related field Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D required; 3D a plus). Strong understanding of mechanical drafting standards and manufacturing practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working cross-functionally and directly with customers. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Associates degree or technical diploma in drafting/design or related field preferred; equivalent work experience considered.Benefits
