Job Title: AutoCAD DesignerJob Description As an AutoCAD Designer, you will create detailed module drawings of building area layouts, including material handling equipment, work areas, and components, using current and future designs. This role involves designing grocery store delivery stations and collaborating with Design Engineers to translate requirements into accurate and comprehensive interior CAD drawings. Responsibilities + Create detailed module drawings for building area layouts including material handling equipment and work areas. + Work with Design Engineers to determine requirements for delivery station layouts and translate them into detailed interior CAD drawings. + Collaborate with various teams including Design Engineers, CAD drafters, World Wide Engineering, Pre-Construction, Construction, external architects, MHE vendors, and Launch Execution teams to deliver completed and approved design sets. + Review and engage with internal and external stakeholders regarding permit sets, structural drawings, elevations, and floorplans. + Support the Design quality control process by participating in daily peer reviews and adhering to design checklists and standards. + Deliver new designs, post-permit design updates, expansions, and retrofits to support safety, quality, productivity, and capacity increase for delivery stations. + Implement new template designs, process improvements, and safety processes into standard designs. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting skills, with 3+ years of experience. + Understanding of architectural floor plans, preferably in large warehouse environments. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with construction document and design drafting. + Extensive operating experience in AutoCAD 2018 or later, preferably in Architecture, Design, Civil, Construction, or Architecture capacity. + Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and Bluebeam. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 3+ years of project coordinating experience. + Associates Degree. + Excellent project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads while maintaining strong attention to detail. + Ability to communicate effectively to various audiences and stakeholders, including written and verbal communications and meeting facilitation. Work Environment This position requires working onsite in Bellevue, WA, three days a week. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, offering opportunities to work within a team designing grocery store delivery stations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
