Baghdad, IRQ | Full Time RELYANT Global, LLC is seeking a skilled and experienced Autobody Technician to support work performed in Baghdad, Iraq. The Autobody technician will be responsible for performing high-quality repairs and restorations on military and civilian vehicles, ensuring their operational readiness and compliance with safety standards. This position requires a self-motivated professional with a strong background in vehicle body repair and refinishing, preferably in an expeditionary or contingency operations environment. Responsibilities: + Inspect vehicle damage and determine repair procedures and materials needed. + Perform dent removal, panel replacement, welding, sanding, and painting. + Refinish and restore vehicles using appropriate tools and materials to meet contract standards. + Use and maintain tools and equipment, including spray guns, sanders, dent pullers, and welding machines. + Ensure repairs align with technical manuals, schematics, and customer specifications. + Work on a variety of vehicle types, including tactical, non-tactical, and specialty vehicles. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies. + Document repair work, maintain service records, and submit required reports. + Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and supervisors to ensure timely completion of work orders. + Support inventory and supply tracking for autobody repair materials. Skills and Qualifications: + High School Diploma or GED required; technical training in autobody repair preferred. + 5+ years of professional experience in autobody repair, with experience in a military or overseas environment highly desired. + Proficiency in autobody repair tools, welding, and vehicle refinishing. + Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations related to vehicle repair. + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals. + Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, austere environment. + Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearances and authorizations for deployment. + Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and medical screening. + Must be willing to live and work in a deployed environment with limited amenities. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying climate conditions.
