The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an Australia Payroll Leader who will have responsibility for the management of Payroll across all Australian entities.

Core Roles and Responsibilities

Lead a team responsible for providing world-class payroll and timekeeping services to over 4,000 Boeing employees across payrolls in AustraliaDevelop a high performing team including the supervision and development of local payroll talent ensuring Boeing values and behaviors are modeledGuide business partners on complex payroll situations to achieve desired business outcomes while remaining compliant with local laws and regulations.Drive first time quality in leading payroll execution by managing program metrics.Help define and track KPIs and ensure performance within targeted measuresEnsure robust payroll process documentation and training for internal and external teamsFacilitate the resolution of issues. Engage with payroll platform and partner representatives to align on features, integrations and issue resolutions (pre and post payroll)Drive continuous improvements in payroll operations and employees' experienceTeam with other Boeing organizations (e.g. Human Resources, Compensation and Benefits, Business Support Managers, Finance, IT in region) to address and support cross-organizational payroll processesImplement stakeholder communication and contact plans 

Technical Competencies

Should have excellent understanding of payroll best practices and in depth knowledge of Australian payroll requirements including tax regulationsPrior experience with payroll & timekeeping platforms and vendor relationships such as Oracle, CloudPay, WorkDay and ServiceNowAbility to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the different HR, Payroll, Timekeeping & Attendance systems, and process including the impact of changes in one area on another area.Ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
