ROLE SUMMARY
The Internal Auditor is responsible for carrying out internal audit activities based on the priorities and plans set by the Governance, Assurance & Audit Services (GA&AS) team. The role also involves assisting audit management in identifying opportunities for process and control improvements to enhance organizational effectiveness and compliance.
ROLE PROFILE
Perform internal audit tasks according to approved methodology and timelines, including reviewing policies, procedures, and historical audit data, conducting data analysis, and documenting findings.Maintain accurate, organized, and complete audit records using the audit management system, while ensuring compliance with audit standards, corporate ethics, and procedures.Apply relevant functional policies, standard operating procedures, and corporate guidelines to carry out audit work in a consistent and controlled manner.Build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders, escalate issues to audit management, and provide research support when needed.Participate in departmental initiatives and internal projects, and actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement and skill development.Attend training sessions and workshops, and support environmental sustainability by aligning work practices with international standards and enhancing related systems.
REQUIREMENTS
Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited university and be in the process of obtaining or partially holding a professional certification related to the audit focus area, such as operations, technology, food safety, analytics, or supPossess 0–2 years of experience in internal audit, project management, or a related discipline, with demonstrated ability to manage tasks and contribute effectively to audit activities.Demonstrate technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, email and file management systems, and preferably have experience with a variety of IT tools; maintain strong English language skills in speaking, reading, and writing.Exhibit strong analytical, planning, and research capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, communicate effectively, build relationships, and work both independently and as part of a team under pressure.
