Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Auditing Clerk to join our team in New Braunfels, Texas. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a leading organization in the Oil and Gas industry. The role combines auditing and accounting responsibilities, requiring both technical proficiency and strong organizational skills. Responsibilities: • Perform regular audits of store operations to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. • Utilize scanning equipment to accurately document and track inventory or operational data. • Manage and organize data using advanced features in Microsoft Excel. • Process financial transactions and maintain records using retail accounting software. • Enter Accounts Payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment processing. • Participate in check runs and assist with financial reporting as needed. • Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency and address discrepancies. • Maintain accurate records of cash activities and other financial transactions. Requirements • Previous experience in auditing, preferably within the Oil and Gas industry. • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. • Familiarity with accounting practices and financial processes. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions. • Experience using retail accounting software. • Ability to work with scanning equipment and related technologies. • Willingness to work onsite in New Braunfels, Texas. • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
