Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Auditing Clerk to join our team in Houston, Texas. In this position, you will play a key role in supporting audit processes, ensuring data accuracy, and performing reconciliations. This opportunity is ideal for someone pursuing a career in the Accounting Industry. This position requires a bachelor's degree in accounting. Responsibilities: • Perform daily reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. • Review and analyze audit reports to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. • Enter and manage data with precision, maintaining records for auditing purposes. • Assist the hotel audit team with tasks related to financial data and reconciliations. • Investigate and resolve variances in financial documentation and systems. • Collaborate with team members to improve audit processes and workflows. • Provide timely updates and reports on auditing activities to management. • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards during audits. • Support other accounting tasks as needed to enhance team efficiency. Requirements • Proven ability to perform daily reconciliations and manage financial data. • Familiarity with audit processes and generating audit reports. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Currently pursuing or holding an Accounting degree is a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills for resolving discrepancies. • Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a focused and efficient environment. • Proficiency in relevant software tools for data entry and auditing. • Commitment to maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
