Kforce's client, a regional public accounting firm in Parsippany, NJ is seeking an Audit Supervisor. Key Tasks: * Audit Supervisor will be responsible for managing & performing audits, reviews & compilates for clients in a variety of industries * Identifies and communicates to management and audit committee suggestions to improve client internal controls and accounting procedures * Identify and delegate functions of the audit to the auditor in charge as deemed appropriate * Supervise the work of the audit team and review workpapers and conclusions preferably onsite during audit field work * Identifies and consults with clients on the impact of new accounting pronouncements * Presents and discuss alternative generally accepted accounting principles and arguments for/against such alternatives * As an Audit Supervisor, you will draft complex financial statements and related footnote disclosures and effectively communicates these to client * Identifies complex accounting issues and forms and documents resolution, seeking counsel of the firm's audit partners as needed
