Audit Practices Associate - Strategy, Methodology and Tools – Product Support

As an Audit Practices Associate - Strategy, Methodology and Tools – Product Support within the Internal Audit Tools Team, you will work closely with Product Owners to provide Level 1 application support to auditors using the Audit Workflow Tool (AWT). You will also assist in designing and ensuring the integrity of user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation strategies for new product enhancements. This role provides an opportunity to develop a robust knowledge of our tools and processes, and to actively participate in project management and system defect management.

Job Responsibilities: 

Develop a relationship with end users across the Audit department; Provide triage and support to resolve end user problems, research and document potential system defects, and escalate as appropriate in line with department policies and procedures for responding to auditors requests for supportBe proactive in identifying problems and themes; create a repertoire/cadence with follow-ups and issue escalations; recommend/implement service enhancements where appropriateBecome familiar with Audit’s processes and toolset, which includes existing and upcoming technologies, with a thirst for learning new productsTake ownership, act with a sense of urgency and be comfortable over-communicatingAssist in the process to ensure that business requirement documentation can be easily translated into test plans prior to deployment of new product enhancementsCreate and execute test cases/scripts for upcoming technology updates / enhancements and ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectationsCommunicate regularly with project management on progress and status including follow up on defects identified during testingBecome familiar with the various modules within the Audit Workflow Tool (AWT) and actively participate in book of work management / project prioritization, end user requirements, and system defect managementWork directly with end users to understand feedback and opportunities to enhance AWTDevelop a robust knowledge of the tools and a relationship with our Technology partners in order to communicate end user needs in a clear and concise manner 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Demonstrate organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, escalate, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlinesDemonstrate strong verbal and written communications skills. Be able to effectively communicate clearly and concisely regardless of mediumBachelor's degree (or relevant financial services experience)Proven ability to multi-task as well as quickly assess and change priorities in real time

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills: 

3+ years of experience in customer service and/or product UAT testingExperience with the following applications: JIRA, JIRA Align, Service Now, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and qTestExperience and familiarity with JPMC Internal Audit’s Audit Workflow Tool (AWT) and/or experience as an Internal AuditorKnowledge of technology product support and product owner responsibilities
