Audit Manager

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Audit Manager to join our growing assurance practice. This role is ideal for a CPA with a strong track record in public accounting who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities in managing engagements, developing staff, and building strong client relationships across diverse industries.

Description:

As an Audit Manager, you will oversee the full audit process from planning to final reporting, ensuring the highest quality of service to our clients and mentoring the next generation of audit professionals.

Plan and manage audit and review engagements, including time budgets and audit programsIdentify and resolve complex issues in client operations, recommending effective solutionsMaintain and build client relationships to retain business and identify opportunities for additional servicesAnalyze interim financial statements and determine audit materialityOrganize and delegate work assignments, ensuring engagements are completed efficiently and accuratelyApply accounting theory, audit standards, and procedures to diverse client situationsReview internal controls and approve audit plans prepared by engagement teamsReview and finalize financial statements, audit reports, and management lettersConduct first- and second-level reviews of staff and supervisor workpapersProvide leadership, training, and feedback to staff, sr. associates, and supervisorsConduct timely performance evaluations and foster professional developmentCommunicate effectively across all levels, both internally and with clientsFamiliarity with ProSystems Engagement, Teammate Analytics is a plus

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA license (required)5+ years of experience in public accounting audit & assurance (preferably at a regional or local firm)Strong industry experience in two or more of the following:ManufacturingDistributionSoftware / TechnologyStaffingProfessional servicesExcellent judgment, project management, and analytical skillsStrong technical knowledge, research abilities, and ability to resolve complex audit issuesProven ability to manage and develop client relationshipsDemonstrated leadership and team development experienceExceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare financial statements and reports

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.10 - $72.12/hr.
