Audit Analyst
Position Summary: 

The Analyst - Audit position is an integral member of the Fleet Services / Operating Tax Department. This position works in a team environment that retrieves and analyzes data to support tax audits on behalf of Penske, Penske customers, and Penske affiliates.

Major Responsibilities:   Collect, analyze, and prepare data sets to accurately support tax audits and functional inquiries  Manage multiple priorities simultaneously involving cross-functional teams to support process improvements Database tool utilization and management to drive process efficiencies Utilize, maintain, and enhance developed database tools Support the development of new methods and tools utilized to extract, analyze, and present data Resolve underlying causes of process defects that arise through the various channels of data exchange Implement remediation steps resulting from audit discovery that will mitigate future audit exposure Other projects and tasks as assigned by management   Qualifications:Bachelor's degree is requiredProject managementExperience with business analysis, process mapping, and new process design projectsAttention to detail with advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to establish and adhere to multiple project timelines and prioritiesCommunicationStrong and adaptable communication skills requiredEffective presentation skills with the ability to present information to, and field questions from Senior ManagementAnalytical tools proficiencyProficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and other technologies that support data extraction, normalization, and presentationProven aptitude to query and perform data analysis within an IBM i or AS400 system preferredExperience with workflow and project management systems is preferredRegular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job:Physical requirements:  -The physical and mental demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.-The associate will be required to: read; communicate verbally and/or in written form; remember and analyze certain information; and remember and understand certain instructions or guidelines.-While performing the duties of this job, the associate may be required to stand, walk, and sit.  The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.  The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25lbs/12kg.-Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
