As an Audit, Compliance, and Deduction Analyst supporting Revenue Management N.A Team, you will be responsible for performing audits and reconciliations of financial data, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and identifying and resolving any deduction discrepancies.
In this role, a typical day will include:
Partner with Alcon Accounts Receivable team to research and resolve all chargeback deductions while ensuring all proper contract administration activities are within company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.Assist Finance, Customer Operations, and Surgical Salesforce in developing, executing, and analyzing reports and processes, with a focus on deduction management.Partner with wholesalers and accounts receivable to resolve all outstanding chargeback deductions and address any wholesaler inquiries.Collaborate with AR and Corporate Accounts teams to ensure repayment of aged outstanding deductions to Alcon.Analyze, monitor, and report financial deductions performance to senior management.Suggest any changes in processes that can be automated, made more accurate, or efficient.Perform audit and compliance reporting processes for Surgical EFA’s and all Vistex and SAP price changes for the US and Puerto Rico.Prepare and report findings to management.Assists the Manager in conducting departmental audits, including AFCM walkthroughs, PWC, and Internal Auditors, to ensure no material findings.Verify that all departmental work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are being adhered to, ensuring consistency and quality in work processes.May assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs for Alcon division in compliance with Alcon accounting policies.WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.3-4 years of applicable experience/background in accounting or finance, and experience in auditing or compliance, with a focus on identifying and resolving deduction discrepancies.The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.Demonstrates complex problem resolution proficiency and the ability to identify/implement process and system enhancements.Knowledge of SAP and practical experience analyzing data, program metrics, and performanceExperience using Salesforce.com.Excellent written and verbal English skills, along with quantitative, interpersonal, and analytical skillsMicrosoft Office suiteDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization, exhibiting leadership qualities.Ability to critically review and improve initiative metrics.This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and business partners.HOW YOU CAN THRIVE AT ALCON:
