GENERAL OVERVIEW:

This job provides direct care to patients and assists with non-direct patient care unit coordination under the guidance of the Audiologist.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrates competency in clinical skills (40%)

Communicates pertinent patient data accurately and utilizes time management skills to organize and prioritize patient care activities (30%)

Assumes responsibility for own professional development. (30%)

Performs other duties as assigned or required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

Bachelor’s degree

Currently enrolled and in good standing in a doctoral program for audiology

Act 34 - Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate

Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association

Preferred

SKILLS:

Diagnostic Audiology testing 

Hearing aid Diagnostic 

Pediatric and adult hearing assessments

Tinnitus evaluations and management

Hearing aid fitting verification
