Audio Sales Manager
Role
The Audio Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales strategy to increase revenue of audio systems and solutions in Japan. In this role, the Audio Sales Manager works with existing sales organization to make connections as needed to existing end customers, integrators, distributors, consultants and architects, through various business development activities in collaboration with the marketing team and the APAC BD team.
The Audio Sales Manager also works to develop new appropriate partnerships, onboarding them into our Axis partner programs and works with Axis audio APAC and global teams to drive specific strategies. The Audio Sales Manager will coordinate with other sales and business development teams dedicated to Audio Systems in APAC/Other Head Region/HQ and will be responsible for achieving sales targets in Japan.
This position will report to Sales Director.
Based in Tokyo.
Responsibility (KPI)
Create and execute a go to market plan that will support to accelerate audio systems sales in Japan.Develop and grow key channel partners who will drive usage among their end usersDevelop relationships with key distributors.Work with the APAC and Global Audio Systems team to develop best practices and transfer knowledge within, benefiting the entire Axis organization.Identify and participate in key industry events, meetings, trade shows, conferences and associations promoting Audio Systems in targeted industry segments.Provide accurate forecasts on overall Audio Systems sales and key projectsBe a team player working with all Axis personnel to advance our overall Audio Systems businessTravel as appropriate to develop business with key events, training and strategies.Profile (eligibility for this job) Knowledge, Abilities, and Skills
Fluent in Japanese, good command of English languageBe able to motivate and influenceSelling on valueAbility to build business plans and to execute themIn-depth knowledge of IP, business applications, and other IT infrastructure-related technologies are plus.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in electronics or IT3-5 years in sales driven position or business development roleCapabilities and experiences with IP audio systems sales in Japan is a plusTechnical background on IP audio is a plus
