The Auburn Site Human Resources Leader will be responsible for providing the full scope of HR advice, guidance, and support across the site population. The Auburn site manufactures commercial high pressure turbine blades for aviation engines as well as additively manufactures a variety of aviation products, using our cutting-edge additive printing technology. In this role you will partner with the Auburn Leadership team to plan and execute strategies that ensure maximum engagement of human capital

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and expertise for the full scope of Human Resource (HR) functions including all aspects of: professional relations, hourly employee relations, employee benefits, compensation, employee involvement, practices, training, organizational change and development and communications for client groupsPerform a leadership role in recruiting, selection, performance management, and career development, including; high volume hourly hiring as the industry recoversConsult with the clients to define roles/missions and design the organizational structure to support the shop that produces turbine airfoils & additively manufactured aviation partsDrive Lean Culture Transformation in partnership with leadership team that focuses on respect for people and continuous improvement every dayProvide counsel in the design and implementation of compensation and recognition programsProvide support or deliver training on a variety of Human Resources topics including, interviewing and EEO complianceConduct annual reviews of organizational designFacilitate communications throughout the organization including employee attitude surveysAct as an impartial advocate to ensure that all individuals receive fair and equitable treatmentDevelop appropriate Human Resource plans in support of key business needs in a dynamic, changing environment and develop / implement appropriate change management plans, as required

Qualifications/ Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Employee Human Resource Management.

Desired Characteristics:

Master's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial / Labor Relations, or Business Administration from an accredited college or universityPrior experience in employee relations areas such as arbitration, EEO / AAP compliance, and litigationStrong desire to be in a manufacturing environment connecting with the shop floorStrong coaching skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities across both strategic and operational spacesDemonstrated ability to facilitate to solutionsExperience leading and developing teamsExperience with lean
