**Main Responsibilities**
+ The Corporate & Regulatory Counsel will be responsible for providing legal advice to Deere & Company’s business in Mexico and Hispanoamerica on corporate, regulatory, and labor matters, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks across regional operations.
+ This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and regulatory authorities. Its main responsibilities include:
+ Permits & Licenses: Manage and ensure timely acquisition and renewal of operational permits, registrations, and licenses.
+ Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS): Support the EHS teams in compliance with environmental and occupational safety regulations, including audits, regulatory reporting, and risk management.
+ Labor & Human Resources: Provide legal support to the HR team on labor relations, employment contracts, terminations, labor audits, and union negotiations.
+ Corporate Matters: first point of contact with respect to Intercompany Matters and Privacy and Data Protection.
+ Litigation Coordination: oversee and manage ongoing litigation with external law firms, including defense strategies, evidence gathering, and executive reporting.
+ Communicates with parties within and outside own team to explain policies and procedures such as corporate governance, compliance, regulatory, environmental, real estate.
+ Lead specific projects to implement and improve standardization.
**What Skills You Need**
+ Law degree.
+ More than 4 years of experience in similar roles in companies or law firms.
+ Advanced English (spoken and written).
+ Solid understanding of local legal frameworks.
+ Strong negotiation, strategic thinking and solution-oriented skills.

+ Excellent communication skills with parties inside and outside one’s own team to explain facts and policies related to the work area, such as business transactions, claims, legal rights and obligations.
+ Keen attention to detail.

**Education**
+ Law Bachelor’s degree.
