The ideal candidate will specialize in insurance defense and medical malpractice litigation, leveraging their expertise to deliver exceptional legal representation. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, handling complex cases and collaborating with a dedicated team. • Represent clients in insurance defense and medical malpractice cases, ensuring high-quality legal advocacy. • Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments. • Prepare and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail. • Manage discovery processes, including document review and depositions, to build strong case foundations. • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective litigation strategies. • Attend court proceedings, hearings, and mediations, advocating effectively on behalf of clients. • Analyze case details and provide sound legal advice to clients. • Maintain compliance with all legal standards and requirements throughout case management. • Stay updated on legal developments within insurance defense and medical malpractice fields. Requirements • Must hold a current license to practice law in the state of Georgia. • 3-5 years of experience in insurance defense and/or medical malpractice litigation. • Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents with accuracy. • Expertise in discovery processes, including conducting depositions and managing document review. • Strong understanding of insurance defense litigation principles and procedures. • Excellent legal research and analytical skills. • Effective communication and advocacy skills for court appearances and client interactions. • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
