Description We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Attorney specializing in Family Law to join our client's boutique team in Silver Spring, Maryland. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in civil litigation and a passion for advocating on behalf of clients. This role offers the opportunity to handle complex cases while contributing to a collaborative and detail-oriented environment. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody disputes, and support matters. • Draft and file motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail. • Conduct thorough discovery processes to gather and analyze relevant case information. • Provide expert legal advice to clients regarding family law issues and potential outcomes. • Advocate for clients during negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings. • Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective legal strategies tailored to each case. • Stay informed about changes in family law regulations and precedents to ensure compliance. • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of client service. • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy development. Requirements • Active license to practice law within the state of Maryland. • Minimum of 1 year of experience specializing in family law. • Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and procedures. • Proven ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents effectively. • Familiarity with discovery processes and techniques. • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple priorities.
