Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a long-term contract position within the manufacturing industry, offering an opportunity to contribute to global M& A transactions and corporate legal operations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in managing legal processes and collaborating with external counsel to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities: • Handle mergers and acquisitions (M& A) transactions, including global deals and related legal processes. • Review and manage non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and other corporate documents. • Provide support on antitrust matters, particularly in the context of sales-side activities. • Collaborate with external legal counsel, ensuring costs are kept within budget and outcomes align with company objectives. • Oversee legal aspects of acquisitions, ensuring compliance and thorough due diligence. • Manage relationships with external law firms, maintaining strong communication and effective delegation of tasks. • Assist with the circulation and review of organizational legal documents to streamline workflows. • Offer guidance on corporate and commercial legal matters, leveraging prior experience in a corporate or large law firm environment. • Ensure alignment with global and U.S. legal standards throughout all transactions. Requirements • Proven experience with mergers and acquisitions (M& A), including global transactions. • Strong background in corporate and commercial law. • Familiarity with non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and their application in business transactions. • Knowledge of antitrust law and its implications for corporate sales processes. • Experience managing external legal counsel and controlling costs effectively. • Prior work experience in a corporate legal department or large law firm. • Excellent organizational and communication skills to handle high volumes of legal reviews. • Ability to work independently while ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.
