Description We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join a dynamic plaintiff-focused litigation firm in Red Bank, New Jersey. This permanent, on-site position offers the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The firm handles a wide range of civil litigation matters, including personal injury claims, environmental torts, and class actions, making it an excellent opportunity for attorneys in the early stages of their careers to gain valuable experience and contribute to meaningful cases. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in legal proceedings such as hearings, depositions, and trials. • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and legal briefs with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness. • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to strategize and build strong cases. • Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring all deadlines and legal requirements are consistently met. • Conduct in-depth legal research to support case preparation and argumentation. • Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice as needed. • Engage in negotiations and mediations to achieve favorable resolutions for clients. • Stay current with legal developments and case law to enhance legal strategies. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in civil litigation. • Active license to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction. • Strong skills in drafting motions, pleadings, and other legal documents. • Proficiency in conducting legal research and preparing briefs. • Familiarity with discovery processes and procedures. • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple cases effectively.
