Description Reputable law firm is seeking an attorney with a strong background in litigation to join their congenial team in the East Bay. The ideal candidate will excel in handling complex estate-related disputes, including trust and probate litigation, conservatorship matters, and contested wills. This role offers the opportunity to advocate for clients in court, provide strategic legal counsel, and contribute to achieving favorable outcomes in inheritance and fiduciary conflicts. Responsibilities: • Represent clients in trust and probate litigation, contested wills, and conservatorship cases. • Develop comprehensive legal strategies to address estate planning disputes and fiduciary-related conflicts. • Draft and submit pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal filings to support case objectives. • Conduct depositions, interview witnesses, and prepare expert testimony as required. • Advocate for clients in court proceedings, mediations, and settlement negotiations. • Collaborate with executors, trustees, and beneficiaries to navigate probate and estate administration processes. • Ensure adherence to estate planning, probate, and conservatorship regulations. • Manage multiple cases simultaneously, maintaining a high level of organization and meeting critical deadlines. • Provide counsel on elder law matters and fiduciary obligations to ensure compliance and resolve disputes.
