Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney to join our client in the Columbus area. This role requires someone with expertise in commercial contracts and corporate legal matters, offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal practices and a proven ability to handle contractual obligations effectively. Responsibilities: • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards and corporate policies. • Provide legal counsel on corporate matters, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies. • Collaborate with internal teams to address contract-related inquiries and offer guidance on legal implications. • Conduct thorough legal research to support contract negotiations and corporate decision-making. • Ensure all contractual agreements align with applicable laws and regulations. • Manage disputes or conflicts arising from contractual obligations and provide resolution strategies. • Support the company in maintaining adherence to corporate governance standards. • Advise on legal risks associated with business operations and propose actionable solutions. • Stay updated on industry-specific regulations to ensure compliance in all legal dealings. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a contracts attorney in a corporate or law firm setting. • Expertise in commercial contracts and corporate legal practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex legal issues. • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities for drafting and negotiating contracts. • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations in the manufacturing sector. • Licensed to practice law in the state of Ohio or eligible for licensure. • Detail-oriented approach to managing legal documents and ensuring accuracy.
