Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in Uniontown, Ohio. This role offers the opportunity to work with prominent clients on a variety of challenging legal matters, including litigation and transactional cases. You will have the chance to build your expertise while contributing to a collaborative and client-focused environment. Responsibilities: • Handle both routine and complex legal cases, including high-value litigation or transactional matters. • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare motions, pleadings, agreements, and related documentation. • Communicate effectively with clients, court officials, and opposing counsel to advance case objectives. • Manage assigned cases under the guidance of senior attorneys, while progressively building independence. • Participate in client development activities and firm marketing initiatives to enhance growth and development. • Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and other legal forums as required. • Ensure compliance with legal standards and maintain a high level of accuracy in all case-related work. • Support the development of legal strategies tailored to client needs and objectives. Requirements • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in Ohio, or eligibility for prompt admission. • 2–5 years of experience in areas such as litigation, employment law, corporate transactions, or creditors’ rights, with attention to detail. • Proven skills in legal research, writing, and advocacy. • Demonstrated initiative, dependability, and dedication to client service. • A strong desire for long-term career growth and specialization in a particular area of law. • Dual licensure in Ohio and another state is a plus. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
