Description We are looking for a highly skilled Attorney with expertise in medical malpractice and product liability litigation to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex legal cases and provide strategic support to a dynamic legal team in Houston, Texas. The role requires someone who is meticulous and adept at legal research, drafting, and trial preparation. Responsibilities: • Analyze and assess medical malpractice and product liability claims to determine case strategies. • Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery-related materials. • Conduct depositions and prepare witnesses effectively for trial proceedings. • Collaborate with internal teams and external expert witnesses to strengthen case arguments. • Offer strategic direction and guidance for case resolution and legal approaches. • Support trial preparation efforts and provide assistance during trial, if necessary. Requirements • Must hold a valid attorney license and be in good standing. • Proven experience handling medical malpractice and product liability cases. • Strong skills in drafting motions, pleadings, and legal briefs. • Expertise in managing discovery processes and legal research. • Excellent ability to conduct depositions and prepare witnesses. • Strong analytical and communication skills to advise on case strategies.
