ATSU - Annual Giving and Prospect Development Associate

A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking a full-time, non-exempt Annual Giving and Prospect Development Associate on the Kirksville, Missouri campus.  This position reports to the Director of Advancement Services. This position will serve all fundraisers at all campuses and remote locations. This person must safeguard the confidentiality of donor information and adhere to ethical and confidentiality guidelines established by the university advancement. This person must also maintain the professional and ethical standards set forth by the Association of Prospect Researchers for Advancement (APRA) to ensure that all activities performed are legal, ethical, and appropriate for the University.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Assist with all leadership and annual giving program logistics, including the coordination of print, online, digital, and social media appeals.Provide logistical support for white coat sponsorship program and giving days (Giving Tuesday, regional giving days, university-wide giving days, thank-a-donor events). Provide support and coordination for the online giving/membership/event platform.Conduct prospect identification and research.Facilitate portfolio management for major gift, annual giving, leadership giving, and planned giving fundraisers.Conduct prospect data analysis. Requirements Bachelor's degree required.Strong, demonstrable analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret business and financial data, as well as real estate data.Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple, diverse, and competing priorities while meeting deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and organize and manage a diverse range of assignments and projects with efficiency and attention to detail. Ability to work congenially in a complex academic institution. Strong, demonstrable computer skills, organizational skills, data analysis, and written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas clearly, accurately, and consistently. Demonstrable proofreading, report writing, and data analysis skills. Interest in and knowledge of domestic and international business environments. Ability to respond quickly and enthusiastically to service requests. Ability to recall, recognize, and communicate interrelated information about the organization’s prospects and donors. Uphold the highest standards of ethical behavior, and ensure donor confidentiality, as outlined in internal policies and in the ethics statements compiled by APRA, CASE, AFP, and other related associations.
