Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented, analytical, technically skilled, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed candidate to join as MX Reusable Equipment Manager responsible of:
1. Develop and oversee the implementation of the GoCart Adoption Strategy for Mexico's Transportation Network.
2. Collaborate with ATS Finance to develop the Operational Plan (OP) for every year and implement actions for its improvement every month.
3. Development of Business Case (Capital Acquisition Request - CAR) for CAPEX funding to support GoCart fleet expansion and replacement.
4. Manage the rollout of GoCart infrastructure and processes across Mexican facilities.
5. Establish KPIs and monitor performance metrics to track adoption progress and efficiency gains.
6. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Fulfilment and Sort Centers, Delivery Stations, IT, and Finance and other stakeholders to align on strategy execution.
7. Lead the de Lead end-to-end GoCart reverse logistics strategy, from development through optimization.
8. Ensure the optimal stock of GoCarts by Site and Route, including the relocation activities to balance the Network.
9. Approve the procurement strategy for GoCarts storing, repairs and other services required for the Network, including the invoicing review and approval processes.
10. Liaise with U.S. and other countries counterparts to leverage best practices and ensure alignment with global standards.
11. Lead with empathy and develop a team that will effectively manage the implementation of the MX GoCart Network and its growth for future years.
12. Oversee training programs for associates on GoCart operations and safety protocols.
13. Manage relationships with third-party maintenance providers and equipment suppliers.
14. Collaborate with the ROC team to optimize GoCart allocation and utilization across the network.
15. Identify and lead the implementation of cost-saving opportunities related to GoCart adoption.
16. Regularly report on progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership.

Also, this position will be supervising the MX GoCart Team that will be handling challenging operational issues that will require a deep analysis of our distribution network, hands-on problem solving mentality and a tenacity to execute solutions that will impact short term and long term operations. You will closely work with your Team and involve functional teams to achieve best in class solutions. You will drive performance measures, find solutions to complex logistics problems, pursue strategic, commercial and operational initiatives by managing innovation projects together with internal and external stakeholders across our constantly expanding Mexico´s Reusable GoCart Network. Finally, you will be dealing with the inevitable challenges that come with continuous, rapid growth and a dynamic environment. Program management operations will be the main scope of this role, leading projects to optimize and accelerate transportation operations with the goal to drive competitive logistics solutions (customer experience, speed, technology, cost). An ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment where change is the only stable element, you will make operational decisions in real time to guarantee the proper functioning of the Mexico´s Reusable GoCart Network.


Key job responsibilities
Lead the execution of the program strategy, driving the MX GoCart team in and outside of your organization to deliver competitive logistics solutions (customer experience, speed, technology, cost) in the MX GoCart Network.
• Partner with customers, internal/external teams to determine what projects move forward and in what priority order.
• Oversee gaps between teams, processes and systems, helping teams reduce exposure to classic failure modes (e.g., requirements not sufficiently understood or documented, ineffective cross-team collaboration, long-term impact(s) from third-party solutions, security not considered, insufficient stakeholder review, etc.)
• Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)
• Work with other business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives.
• Develop, implement, KPI reporting providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across the Amazon sites, Transportation Operations and projects.
• Roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality.
