Job Description An Employer is seeking an Atlassian SME sitting remotely in the U.S. for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This individual will be a SME for two programs supporting the United States Space Force, Space Rapid Capabilities Office. will work with a high-end Digital Engineering Solutions team to configure Jira, Confluence, and Jira Service Management meeting the needs of the customer and demands outlined in the contract. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  Configure and customize Jira workflows and Confluence dashboards.  Elicit requirements from customers and translate them into automated processes.  Manage workflows and asset management using Jira Service Management.  Utilize coding skills (JQL, SQL, HTML, Python, Java, JavaScript) to build custom products.  Collaborate with technical operations and maintenance personnel.  Provide expertise in Atlassian products and Microsoft Office suite. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience end-to-end, across the DoD acquisition process and has lead development efforts throughout, they are a subject matter expert with Atlassian products, have a strong understanding of coding or hands-on experience, and a background in DoD acquisition. They should possess excellent interpersonal skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. Skills and Requirements Experience with ERB/CCB (engineering review board/configuration control board) configuration management in a complex workflow (Jira, Confluence) Extensive background in end-to-end DoD Acquisitions (DoD 5000, FAR, DFAR), at minimum, Level 1 Acquisition certified Ability to lead development efforts throughout the acquisition process and have a thorough understanding of software code (any language) Proficiency in working directly with end customers on requirements and end process analysis Experience with Asset Management and JSM (Jira Service management) Ability to obtain (or active) Secret Clearance Coding experience, Python programming preferred null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
