Job Description:
Brown University Athletics and Recreation is seeking candidates for the Multimedia and Production Manager position. Located in Providence, Rhode Island, and a member of the Ivy League, our intercollegiate athletics program consists of 34 varsity teams with approximately 1,000 athletes who participate within the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA-DI).
The Multimedia Production Manager will manage the production of live video content for Brown Athletics, including ESPN+ home events, video scoreboards, and other video projects. This role ensures that Brown’s athletic facilities and video control rooms are equipped to support video streaming needs and manages the daily operations of video production for athletic events. Key responsibilities include assisting with video production, staff management, and coordinating multimedia efforts in collaboration with other departments.
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in video production or a related field, minimum three (3) years professional experience, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required
• Experience producing live events for linear TV, producing sporting events, intercollegiate athletics or professional sports
• Three (3) years of working in sports video production, including creative storytelling experience; strong knowledge of filming, photography, editing, color grading, audio mixing, and production required.
• Three (3) years’ experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects finalization required.
