Budget title: Instructional Support Associate (SL-2)
Salary: $51,261
Primary Job Duties:
+ Serve as a member of the four-person athletics communications team, which is responsible for content creation, media relations, social media, website (binghamtonbearcats.com) and gameday coverage.
+ Primary media contact for women's basketball, women's volleyball, women's lacrosse and men's/women's tennis (subject to change).
+ Generate content to post on all viable internal and external platforms with an emphasis on video and social media content.
+ Serve as social media manager with lead role in recruiting and training student interns and guiding communications team's social media strategy.
+ Assist in coverage of special events and host tournament roles as necessary.
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Experience in communications, or a related area
Preferred:
+ Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software, such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop
+ Broad knowledge of all sports, including rules and statistics
+ Experience inputting and calling stats using Genius software for volleyball and basketball and Statcrew/Presto for lacrosse
+ Experience with web content management systems, such as SIDEARM
+ General knowledge of videography and photography
+ Ability to work as part of a team
+ Ability to work nights and weekends throughout academic year
+ Experience working in a college sports information setting
