**Description:**
**Certified Athletic Trainer – Boise Professional Soccer Club**
**The Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) for Boise Professional Soccer Club will support athletes across the First Team and Academy in practices, competitions, and return-to-play efforts. This year-round role involves close collaboration with coaches, team management, and sports medicine physicians, and works under the Outreach Athletic Trainer Supervisor to manage daily sports medicine operations. The AT oversees treatment, injury prevention, rehab, and conditioning, and attends all training sessions, scrimmages, and games.**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
**Bachelor’s degree in athletic training. Master’s degree preferred Certified**
**Athletic Trainer by the Board of Certification Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the state they work (Idaho or Oregon).**
**Must have a minimum of three years of full-time experience (within the past 5 years) in elite soccer. This experience should include serving as a head or assistant athletic trainer at the professional, major junior, or college/university level.**
**At hire, Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. (ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS)**
**What You’ll Do**
**Deliver top-tier sports medicine care during practices, games, and travel**
**Lead injury evaluations, emergency care, rehab programs, and return-to-play protocols**
**Maintain accurate medical documentation and manage insurance/league reporting**
**Coordinate physical exams and ensure compliance with league medical policies**
**Support nutrition and hydration strategies for optimal player performance**
**Keep treatment areas organized and stocked with necessary supplies**
**Contribute to youth affiliate education initiatives**
