Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and educates Wellness/Fitness programs, activities and classes for employees, individuals, businesses and/or groups within the community to promote a healthy lifestyle. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: Possesses a BS degree in athletic training. Experience in the health promotion/wellness and fitness field. Must possess adequate knowledge of health appraisal techniques, risk factor identification and demonstrate knowledge of the principals of fitness and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the athlete's status and interpret the appropriate information. PREFERRED: Current BOC national certification status for athletic training. License/Certifications/Special Requirements: Possesses current Illinois state Athletic Trainer license.
