As an Athlete and Retail Operations Manager, you will contribute to Nikes success by providing knowledge and expertise to elevate the leadership and coaching

capabilities of the upper field organization and 3rd party partners.

As a subject-matter expert, they obsess the athlete* journey to ensure efficient and consistent retail operations through the execution of Nike processes, policies, and objectives, while responding to the emerging needs of the business.

This is a field-based position, covering Canada. Role requires travel to locations across Canada and Quarterly meetings with Business Operations including periodic

travel to the United States. 60% travel.

Four years of customer-facing retail or hospitality experienceThree years leadership experienceProficient in Microsoft Office and retail business systemsValid Passport for periodic travel to the United StatesResides within a commutable distance (less than 50 miles) of Canadian Head Quarters

What You’re Responsible For

Supports multiple departments or large teams, and/or major projects/programs/external customers.Works with novel information and can convey complex information across cross-functional and senior leadership audiences.Utilizes expertise to understand complex issues and implications. Provides thought leadership within their own discipline and is recognized as a subject matter expert. Synthesizing WHQ (World Head Quarters) driven store operational programs and tools along with their business impacts to upper field leadership. Accountable for the socialization of new field programs and tools.Lead training of new operational store processes and standards for store leaders.Responsible for operational education of Retail teams inclusive of teaching the standard of excellence for organizational processes and programs.Supporting Retail teams with operational issues by taking appropriate partnership to find solutions. Reinforcing safety and operational standards through the execution of Nike Swoosh Standards.Serves as the functional leader in field implementation of operational policy and process.Provides and supports the operational strategy for the Retail Operations Captains (ROC) Firstline Program. Acts as conduit for field operational excellence with cross functional teams at WHQ and with external partners. Lends their operational expertise for successful creation, development and implementation of new and emerging Nike initiatives and programs.Maintains territory cross functional partnership to communicate and influence operational consistency.Embraces and leads change through proficient use of company communication platforms, processes and systems.Provides cross functional partnership in operational planning, prioritization, and implementation to support clear and consistent communication and execution of Nike Priorities.
