Chemours is seeking an **Assurance Manager** to join our Finance team. This highly visible position will report to the Chief Audit Executive and be based at the **Wilmington DE** location. Chemours Assurance Services (CAS), led by the Chief Audit Executive, is a key resource for the Company and supports Management and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors by providing high-impact, objective assurance and advisory services. **The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:** + Accountability for the end-to-end process and execution of CAS’ audit and advisory engagements and projects. This includes oversight of planning, scoping, fieldwork and reporting. + Ensuring compliance with the professional standards as established by The Institute of Internal Auditors and with CAS’ own methodologies, policies and procedures + Overseeing project leads and other staff working on each project to ensure tasks and projects are completed within budgeted hours and project objectives and milestones are met + Recommending improvements to the design of processes and controls under audit and propose potential solutions to business problems + Executing special projects, such as pre-implementation readiness assessments, due diligence, etc. + Liaising with the CAS leader for SOX internal controls testing and CAE to ensure a balanced workload for the team in order to meet the objectives of both SOX testing and internal audits. + Coordinating audit work with external auditors, internal control compliance groups, finance, accounting policy, and other groups, as appropriate + Developing relationships with individuals at all levels of the businesses and functions, including up to the C-Suite, communicating high-impact observations and insights to our clients + Assisting the Chief Audit Executive in the annual risk assessment and project plan + Managing, training and developing the less tenured assurance professionals on the team **In order to be qualified for this role, you** **_must possess_** **the following:** + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related fields + CPA, CIA, CISA or other related professional certification(s) + 6+ years of experience in External or Internal Audit + 2+ years of managerial experience + Advanced knowledge of financial, operational, and business processes, ERP systems and/or other financial applications + Ability to analyze complex processes to identify potential financial, operational, systems and compliance risks + Ability to provide added value to the business, research topics, and offer a broader prospective + Advanced knowledge of and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and methodologies for achieving compliance + Advanced knowledge of The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA’s) code of ethics and professional standards + Excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to present to management + Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an ability to provide strategic direction to the team + Ability to travel (domestic and international) – approximately 10% - 20% **The following skill sets** **_are preferred_** **by the business unit:** + Big 4 experience is highly desirable + Chemicals and/or manufacturing industry experience + Demonstrated technical knowledge and experience of performing financial and operation audits + Demonstrated technical knowledge of SAP (security, transaction codes, GRC, BW, etc.) + Experience acquiring data from ERP (SAP) and other systems then transforming, mapping, cleansing, and preparing data for analysis + Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx, etc.) **Benefits:** Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits Packages 401(k) Match Employee Stock Purchase Program Tuition Reimbursement Commuter Benefits Learning and Development Opportunities Strong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives Company-paid Volunteer Day We’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
