Job Description

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

Manage NPD & NPI team for new product & process developing, provide technical support to the RFID production line.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

Manage RFID NPD & NPI team for new product developing.Provide technical support to improve production process and performance.Design proofing process and develop new product.Interface with ProDev/GPD team and RFID Engineering team to address technical and manufacturing needs for new and existing products and processes.Assist RFID production team to improve the product quality.Initiate and manage best practices.Provide technical and process training for Engineers and Technicians.Investigate the quality issue referrint to product design and find out the root cause and solution.Provide managerial support to Technical Manager on daily department operation, such as output and continuous improvement etc.Assists R&D, Platform team, and NPD staff in evaluating, testing and qualifying new product and processing.         Develop test methods for qualifying new products, materials and processing procedures.Motivate others to accept process changes, sustain them, and take ownership of them.Other tasks assigned by supervisor.

 

Qualifications

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

College or above.Project management experience.Able to perform duties with minimal supervision in a team environment.At least 7 years work experience in a manufacturing environment, at least 5 years supervisory experience.Good sense on printing color, Ink mixing capability is preferred. Good understanding on paper construction especially on self-adhesive paper.Good understanding on design for manufacturing. Good command of computer operating skill (OFFICE, Windows).  Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills in both English and Mandarin.  Strong background in NPI area.Familiarity with RF/RFID is preferred.Educated in or working experience with a US or European country is a plus.
