The revitalized facility will feature a championship-caliber course, a state-of-the-art education and training center, expansive practice facilities, and a commitment to community engagement through youth development and golf access initiatives. Cobbs Creek is more than just a golf course—it’s a civic asset dedicated to equity, excellence, and opportunity.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and service-oriented Assistant Golf Professional to join our golf operations team. The ideal candidate is passionate about the game of golf, thrives in a hospitality-driven environment, and is committed to delivering an exceptional experience to guests and the community. Compensation: Up to $55,000 annually plus lessons. 

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily golf operations, including tee sheet management, guest check-in, and payment processing through Golf365 Premiere POS. Reconcile daily tee sheets, address discrepancies, and track no-shows and force posts. Support golf shop operations by maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked environment. Assist with merchandising, sales, and coordination of purchase orders in partnership with the retail team. Prepare and coordinate tournament and outing materials, including scorecards, cart signs, rules sheets, and pairings. Actively promote and support all campus golf activities, programs, and events. Provide instruction, clinics, and player development opportunities as directed. Support training and mentoring of staff and shop assistants. Incorporate safe work practices in all tasks and ensure compliance with operational procedures. Other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation of the golf program.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent education/experience; PGA PGM program enrollment or pursuit preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer service. Knowledge of golf operations, merchandising, and tournament preparation. Experience with POS and tee sheet systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to work in outdoor conditions and lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Passion for the game of golf and commitment to growing the game in a diverse and inclusive community.
