Summary:

Responsible for assisting with the day to day operation and direct supervision of assigned activities within the facilities department. Oversee overall department and/or shift(s) as assigned. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or team member challenges.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Assist with training, developing, measuring performance, disciplining, and/or scheduling department staff, as assigned Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position Maintain a strict preventative maintenance program Assist in preparing the annual operating budget and plans in order to meet property facility requirements Work closely with other departments to ensure the building, life support systems, and utility services are functioning in a safe and efficient fashion Create, develop and implement an effective strategy to provide facilities support for residential areas of the hotel, public areas, and back of the house service areas Monitor the training needs of the department and oversees the implementation and successful completion of training programs Monitor all support systems and controls to ensure the security and safety of the physical plant, company, guests, and employees Develop plans, makes resources available and schedules required work to ensure areas of the hotel, casino, and grounds are able to be utilized for their intended purpose Coordinate and ensures accurate preparation and distribution of daily, weekly, monthly, and annual preventive maintenance and job production Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards Perform other duties as assigned
