**41619BR** **Extended Job Title:** Asst/Assoc/Professor - Residency Program Leadership, Family Medicine **Position Description:** We are looking for a Family Medicine Physician to assist the Program Director in overseeing the administration of the program, ensuring compliance with ACGME requirements and supporting resident education. This physician will also provide compassionate and quality clinical care for patients with a wide range of family medicine conditions. **Requisition ID:** 41619BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Pay Grade Maximum:** Salary commensurate with related education, experience and/or skills **Major/Essential Functions:** + Contributes to the curriculum development and implementation, in compliance with educational goals and accreditation standards; + Participates in the recruitment and selection processes for new residents; + Evaluates resident performance, provide feedback and offer guidance to residents; + Provides direct teaching to the residents, including inpatient and outpatient rotations; + Assesses patients through health histories, presenting illness and physical examination; + Orders laboratory, diagnostic and screening tests; + Develops and implements treatment plans including medications; + Educates patients on medications, treatments, wellness and disease management; + Coordinates care with subspecialists and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams; + Prepares and completes timely and accurate documentation for medical records; and + Participates in quality improvement, continuing education and patient care programs established by the department, clinic and/or hospital. **Grant Funded?:** No **Pay Grade Minimum:** Salary commensurate with related education, experience and/or skills **Pay Basis:** Monthly **Work Location:** Permian Basin **Department:** Family Med Ode General **Required Attachments:** Resume / CV **Job Type:** Full Time **Pay Statement:** Compensation is commensurate upon the qualifications of the individual selected and budgetary guidelines of the hiring department, as well as the institutional pay plan.
