The receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk, greeting visitors, and handling incoming calls. This position ensures that all visitors receive a warm welcome and that their inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally. The receptionist also performs various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Greeting Visitors: Welcome visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department. Ensure that all visitors sign in and receive visitor badges.Handling Calls: Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate person or department. Take messages when necessary and ensure timely follow-up.Administrative Support: Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and managing office supplies. Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments.Maintaining Reception Area: Keep the reception area clean and organized.Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all visitors and callers. Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.Facilities Management: Coordinate with the facilities team to ensure the office environment is well-maintained and all equipment is functioning properlyMaintenance Requests: Handle maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of any issues related to the office facilitiesEducation and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.English level intermediate, can answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate personKnowledge and Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.What’s in it for You
