**The Opportunity:**
We are seeking an Associated Project Manager to join our dynamic team in a Project Operations role that has strong emphasis and experience with Aircraft Weapon Systems Armaments.
This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in project management with a focus on supporting program business and functional operational areas that include DoD armament platforms and the automated testing of both the weapons and the weapon system platform.
The successful candidate will assist in identifying and resolving operational issues, act as a liaison between technical and functional areas, with an emphasis in Weapon Systems Armament, Aircraft Maintenance, and Logistic.
Additional duties include supporting the Program Manager in planning and monitoring program activities, providing input and review on new business that may have key areas associated with Automated Test Systems and Equipment for DoD Platforms, including Weapon Systems and Armament Maintenance, Logistics and Training across Organizational, Intermediate and Depot levels within the DoD.
**Responsibilities:**
+ **Operational Support:**
+ Assist in identifying and facilitating the resolution of operational issues within the program, project, or new business opportunity.
+ Act as a liaison between technical teams and functional areas (i.e, quality, training, logistics, production, finance, and customer operations) to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
+ **Program Planning and Monitoring:**
+ Support the Program and Project Manager in planning, monitoring, and executing program and project activities.
+ Assist in the development and maintenance of program schedules, timelines, and milestones.
+ **Program and Project Execution:**
+ Help execute one or more aspects of the program or project, such as resource allocations and management, risk management, scheduling, deployment and delivery of goods and services, or other program and project support functions.
+ Contribute to the creation and maintenance of program documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, schedules and action item logs.
+ **Liaison Role:**
+ Serve as a point of contact for program and project-related queries and issues, ensuring timely and effective communication between stakeholders.
+ Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive program and project objectives and ensure alignment across teams, functional roles and enterprise operations.
+ **Risk Management:**
+ Assist in identifying potential risks and issues that may impact program and project delivery.
+ Contribute to the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies.
+ **Resource Management:**
+ Support the allocation and management of resources to ensure program and project goals are met within specified timelines and budgets.
**Qualifications:**
_Required:_
+ **Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent time in Project Management, Engineering, or related fields in managing projects.
+ **Experience:**
+ 5 years of experience in project management or a related role.
+ Strong background in Automated Test Systems and Equipment, along with Armament Weapon Systems for DoD platforms
+ Ability to obtain Secret level clearance
+ **Skills:**
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
+ Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
_Desired:_
+ Experience with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana).
+ 15 years experience in Automated Test Systems and Equipment, along with Armament Weapon Systems for DoD platforms
+ Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and think critically.
+ PMP, CAPM, or other project management certifications

**Pay Range** : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$65,000 - $136,500
