Job Description:
The Fixed Income Sales team at TD Securities is currently seeking a high calibre individual to join our team of 16 salespeople across Asia as an Associate/Vice President in Singapore on a 6-12month contract basis for a maternity leave cover. This is an opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing franchise with high internal visibility at the senior executive level within TD Securities. The position will provide a chance to have direct client interaction and responsibility of accounts in a fast-paced, team-oriented and dynamic environment.
Principal Responsibilities
Provide coverage and service to Institutional clients across Rates and Credit flow products
Responsible for maintaining existing client relationships and provide timely market intelligence to internal stakeholders (Syndicate, Trading, etc)
Proficient in the full trade cycle beginning to end - pitching of trade ideas (primary and secondary), pricing, execution and settlement of trades
Develop a solid fundamental understanding of markets especially in Asia and Global credits, local currency bonds and US/Canada/Australia/New Zealand rates products
Maximizing profitability through client knowledge and trade flow as a trusted advisor of clients
Interact with clients efficiently and skillfully at all levels
Focus on cross-team and cross-border selling initiatives
Manage ad-hoc projects and support product development activities and research initiatives
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 3+ years of Fixed Income Sales experience
Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks independently
Prior experience in a global bank or institutional investment firm is a plus
Excellent written and verbal skills
Good analytical and sales skills
