Associate Vice President, Product Management 

We are looking for an Associate Vice President, Product Management to shape the strategy, development, and execution of MCG’s product portfolio for the Utilization Management and Case Management market. This role is a key part of our product leadership team and will focus on evolving how our digital solutions support evidence-based clinical decision-making across the healthcare ecosystem.  

 In this role you will oversee a high-impact set of products that serve clinical decisions across the patient journey, delivering a suite of solutions with a strong focus on intelligent automation, data integration, and scalable architecture. This leader will partner closely with our engineering and clinical teams to build forward-looking capabilities that address evolving payer and provider needs.

 You will:  

 Lead and Scale the Product Portfolio 

Own the strategy, roadmap, and growth of our UM product portfolio.  Guide investment and prioritization decisions that support business growth, customer value, and competitive differentiation.  Ensure consistent delivery against performance KPIs including revenue, adoption, and customer satisfaction. 

 Define a Forward-Looking Vision 

Translate market trends, client feedback, and regulatory shifts into a long-term vision for the future of utilization management.  Advocate for product innovation that supports value-based care, prior authorization reform, and data-driven care review. 

 Drive Innovation and Technical Strategy 

Collaborate with engineering and analytics partners to develop scalable, modular UM solutions powered by intelligent automation, interoperability, and modern APIs. 

 Build and Align a High-Performing Product Organization 

Establish clear roles, agile processes, and decision frameworks to support continuous improvement.  Foster strong cross-functional alignment with design, clinical content, go-to-market, and customer success teams. 

 Represent the Product Internally and Externally 

Engage with customers, industry groups, and advisory boards to validate product direction and surface unmet needs.  Partner with sales, marketing, and client success to ensure product messaging and value proposition resonate with healthcare buyers. 

What We’re Looking For:  

Proven experience (8+ years) leading B2B SaaS or health tech product strategy, including ownership of clinical or payer-provider platforms.  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Product Design, Health Informatics, or a related field; Master’s degree (MBA, MHA) preferred.  Deep familiarity with market trends in utilization management, prior authorization, care management, or adjacent areas.  Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational agility with a track record of aligning diverse stakeholders around a shared product vision.  Financial fluency, including forecasting, ROI modeling, and licensing structures  Strategic, analytical, and unafraid to challenge the status quo to deliver results that matter. 

Pay Range:  National $204,100 – $285,760 | Seattle $216,300 – $300,900 

Other compensation: Bonus Eligible 

This is a remote position and requires travel approximately 30% of the time. Travel may include conferences, client meetings, or internal team events. All travel expenses are covered in accordance with company policy. 

The ideal candidate should be comfortable balancing the independence of remote work with the collaborative opportunities offered by periodic in-person engagements.
