VCA Greater Savannah Animal Hospital is located just a few miles from downtown Savannah and the beautiful coastal islands of Southern Georgia. Savannah is a charming, historic city on the coast of Georgia - a relaxing southern escape with a variety of fun activities. Wander the streets and the Riverwalk in downtown to take in the different shops and the historic architecture. Spend the day at the beach on one of the Georgia Barrier Islands (Tybee, St. Simons, Jekyll, and more) with swimming, boating, and other water activities. The Savannah area has some great restaurants (fresh seafood) along with shopping, architectural tours, music festivals, and art exhibits. Savannah is also a college town, home to the award-winning Savannah College of Art and Design.

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.

Qualifications

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalentLicensure in good standing to practice in Georgia, or the ability to obtainA commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
