Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Associate - Urban Design to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will contribute to the development of sustainable and visually appealing urban spaces that enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors alike.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive urban design plans and strategiesDevelop conceptual designs, master plans, and detailed site plans for various urban projectsConduct site analysis and research to inform design decisionsPrepare high-quality visual presentations, including 2D and 3D renderings, diagrams, and mapsParticipate in client meetings and public consultations to present design concepts and gather feedbackAssist in the preparation of design guidelines and urban design frameworksContribute to the development of sustainable and climate-responsive urban design solutionsSupport project managers in meeting project deadlines and deliverablesStay updated on current urban design trends, technologies, and best practices

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or related field; Master's degree in Urban Planning or Design is preferred15-20 years of experience in urban design or a related fieldProficiency in urban design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and ArcGISStrong visual communication skills and ability to create compelling presentationsIn-depth knowledge of sustainable urban design principles and practicesExcellent project management abilities and attention to detailUnderstanding of local urban planning regulations and policies in Saudi ArabiaFamiliarity with sustainable design practices in arid climatesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plusWillingness to adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines
