This Position reports to:

Production Manager
 Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the completion of testing activities efficiently and cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, cybersecurity policies and standards. Each day, you will assist Test Engineers with product and system testing. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing standard test records and completing test documentation.

This role contributes to the Process Automation – Excitation business in the India region.

You will be mainly accountable for:Maintaining test reports and certificates that prove compliance with required and applicable standards, market, or regulatory requirements in line with customer specifications, legal, or ABB internal requirements.Supporting risk assessments to assure safe and cybersecure systems of work and taking appropriate actions.Utilizing standardized processes and tools and maintaining/calibrating them.Assisting in carrying out tests and inspections at suppliers’ premises to meet contractual obligationsQualifications for the role:You enjoy working on the testing of excitation systems in the field of power electronics and synchronous machines (generators and motors).You have 3 to 5 years of experience in testing excitation systems, including testing, FAT, and customer support.You possess advanced knowledge of power systems and power electronics.You are passionate about customer and stakeholder management.You hold a diploma or an engineering degree in electrical or electronics.You are proficient in English, both written and verbal.More about us:
