The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Test & Evaluation Lab Tech (Test Operation) to join our team in Berkeley, MO. The Boeing Test & Evaluation Midwest Environmental Labs support various defense, space and commercial programs. There are several areas of Environmental Test performed at this location which include: Acoustics, Airflow, Dynamics, Hypersonics, Thermal, and Vibration. This hands on position will include all facets of the test lifecycle from test design, setup and execution to test teardown. This position will primarily support the vibration and dynamics labs conducting fixed base vibration testing and structural dynamics testing such as ground vibration testing.

Position Responsibilities:

Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies

Designs systems, materials, components, software and methodologies to meet customer requirements

Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems

Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities

Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post test tear-down

Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results

Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems

Works under general supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of experience working in a lab test, flight test, or similar test environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Associate’s degree in a technical field

Experience directly supporting flight/lab test operations

Experience with precision test, measurement devices, and sensor selection

Experience with fabrication and installation of electrical instrumentation and control hardware

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $47,600 – $64,400
