About the role:

FIS is looking for an Associate Technical Project Manager who will manage exchange gateway products (Order Sending gateways and Market Data gateways) of some exchanges as a Product Owner.  He/she will manage regular internal technology upgrades and exchange driven changes as projects.  

What you will be doing:

To monitor for the exchange changes, which could be protocol change, specification change, changes to the supported financial asset classes, electronic trading feature change, market data dissemination feature change, etc.  Learn and understand every change, track it throughout the whole change life cycle.  During such, assess impacts to the gateway products we manage, and communicate them well to all stakeholders.To specify the functional requirements as a Product Owner, and to lead the scrum teams to get the function requirements delivered in a timely manner as a Project Manager. As well, to manage the project stakeholders that may include our product management teams, client servicing teams, professional service teams, and our clients.To manage (plan, kickoff, communicate, track and monitor, measure results) projects from the beginning to complete delivery and implementation on client side.

What you will need:

2 to 5 years of experience in project management (agile methodology) or financial software developmentMinimum bachelor's degreeSpeaking fluent (or even native) Putonghua so that he/she can take care of all day-to-day businesses and communications with exchanges from Mainland and Taiwan.Reading and writing Mandarin very well, as exchanges from Mainland and Taiwan regions publish documents in Mandarin only.  Candidates are expected to be able to read and write emails in Mandarin too.Speaking fluent English, in order to take care of the day-to-day business and communications/collaborations with our offshore development teams from different countries.Strong financial market knowledge on front office trading processes, on various financial asset classes no matter electronically tradable or not, their specialties, functionalities, and workflowsKnowledge on middle office processes and back-office processes is a value-add.Solid experience in dealing with exchange market data feeds, and/or order routings.Technical background is required because that will help communications between the business and the development teams and sometimes to the clients’ IT teams.Capable of management multiple projects in parallel, very good time management in between all parallel projects so that stakeholders won’t see any misses in any project management stages.Good speaker in other languages is a value-add.A good collaborator
