Primary Job Function
The position is to work closely with various operation and business units to manage suppliers’ highest level of quality and performance. Grow and engage suppliers to build enterprise excellence culture into their operations with fulfillment of social responsibility.
Core Job Responsibilities
Be responsible to calibrate SRM SOPs and Policies to ensure team process standardization and efficiency. Develop, lead and improve department Supplier Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPI).Develop supplier quality improvement roadmap to facilitate all improvement programs development and execution to minimize supplier quality events, mainly for JX site. Track and communicate with suppliers on quality and service performance. Use quality tools to identify root causes and implement CAPA within required time frame.Conduct suppliers’ performance analysis and identify proactive projects to prevent risks and issues prior to occurrence. Be able to audit supplier with improvement opportunities identification and help enhance suppliers’ problem solving capability and lean efficiency.Be able to train suppliers and organize workshops on problem solving tools and deliver results.Be able to engage suppliers to build Operation Excellence culture and improve mature level to ensure highest quality staying reliable and sustainable.Understand and monitor government regulatory and compliance requirements; take proactive actions and ensure suppliers to meet with no exceptions.Work with cross functional teams, i.e. R&D, QA, regulatory, global SQA, Commercial QA, etc. to lead suppliers to implement improvement and innovation projectsBenchmark COC (China Operation Council) sites suppliers quality management best practice to replicate into ANSC China supplier quality improvement program.Other task/assignment by line manager.Supervisory/Management ResponsibilitiesNo responsibility of supervision
Minimum EducationBachelor Degree in Food Science, Nutrition Science, Chemistry, Biology, and etc.
Minimum Experience/Training RequiredMinimum 5 years of supplier interactions of purchasing, supplier management in FMCG, nutrition or pharmaceutical industry3+ year experience on project management and leadershipGood understand on quality assurance and controlGood knowledge and experience on Operation Excellence tools and managementSupplier quality management experience is a plusEnterprise/operation excellence certification obtain is a plus
