Associate/Sr. Associate/Manager – Content and Video Production

The Content and Video Production role will help create compelling video and written digital content for Lilly’s external and internal communications channels. As a member of our Creative Services team, the successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues to find and tell compelling stories that advance Lilly’s reputational objectives and build trust with key audiences – supporting a consistent narrative and customer experience for consumers.

Under the strategic direction of the Executive Director of Content and Video, the Content Manager will help develop and consult on video and written content creation across Communications -- identifying stories, providing expert counsel to colleagues and vendors, leading video production projects, writing content for Lilly’s digital channels, and helping drive best-in-any-class content across the team.

The Content Manager will also help ensure standards and guidelines for content across the organization are executed consistently.

The Content Manager should be prepared to provide additional support as needed for Lilly Global Communications.

The position is located in Indianapolis, reporting to the Executive Director of Content and Video.

Responsibilities:

Helps create, develop and edit content across mediums (video, written, audio), including Lilly.com, corporate social media channels and internal communications channels.Collaborates closely with the Creative Services team and Communications colleagues, subject matter experts and project managers to deliver work that aligns to Lilly’s objectives and drives results.Executes on team priorities, including the editorial calendar for the corporation, and helps drives operational efficiencies in the messaging/content development process to meet project and team needs.Works across the organization to find and tell compelling stories that advance Lilly’s reputational objectives with consumers and other key audiences.Helps oversee and manage vendor relationships, execution and budgets, including video production and contract writing services.Manages review processes for content on Lilly’s corporate channels and helps ensure Lilly communications’ quality standards as well as legal, regulatory and privacy compliance of content.Consults with employees, agencies and vendors to drive understanding and application of the Lilly brand voice and standards.Monitors and analyzes content performance metrics to optimize and improve future content strategies.Stays updated on the latest trends and best practices in content marketing and video production to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, TV, video production or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of agency and/or in-house experience creating video, written and social content for a corporate brand.Qualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Additional Skills/Preference:

Outstanding portfolio of video and writing and content demonstrating ability to find and tell compelling stories.Advanced understanding of AP style and ability to edit and write for a variety of channels including social/digital, speech, video, podcast, etc.Ability to combine business strategy, brand strategy and customer insight to create content for internal and external audiences.Advanced understanding of corporate review processes, legal and regulatory guidelines as well as MS Office Suite, and other relevant software.Understanding of and experience with new and established social media platforms and publishing platforms.Ability to interface professionally and persuasively with corporate leaders and managers and ability to negotiate solutions.Experience working globally and externally preferred.Demonstrated ability to apply practical or technical knowledge where no direction is given.Strong organization and project management skills.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines and deal with rapidly changing priorities and timelines.Knowledge and understanding of key marketplace factors for pharmaceuticals, as well as critical business issues and drivers.Meticulous attention to detail.Ability to think quickly, analytically to accommodate a dynamic communications environment.Understanding of and experience with CMS and UX design principles.Works well under pressure, responds to feedback well and keeps a positive attitude.

Additional Information:

Some international and domestic travel expected as conditions and business need arise.Located in Indianapolis.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$57,750 - $129,800

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
