The Patient Affordability, Innovation Analyst PositionThe Patient Affordability Innovation Analyst (Associate/Sr. Associate/Manager) plays an integral role in leading and innovating data assets needed for the creation and measurement of Lilly USA’s patient affordability and copay program! The role is critical in allowing the Patient Affordability Center of Excellence (PACE) to meet its vision of winning by optimizing patient affordability solutions. Further, this role will be integral in helping develop data and analytical strategies that usher in confident decisions to implement innovative patient affordability programs and tactics that positively impact patient trial and adherence in the most compliant, efficient, and fiscally responsible manner.
Summary of Job ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate knowledge of Lilly’s and the Lilly Value and Access (LVA) vision, mission, business strategies/goals, products, processes, compliance requirements and toolsDisplay and implement knowledge of healthcare industry and trends that could affect Lilly’s patient affordability program design and implementation.Build strong internal and external relationships through frequent formal and informal communication with business partners such as Tech@Lilly, BI&A, Brands, Legal, Privacy, Gross-to-Net, finance, copay vendors, and peers. Constantly seek paths to partner with them to further improve the patient affordability data/analytics platforms.Show deep knowledge of how to use complex data modeling, aggregation and analytics (e.g., data quality and stewardship, data structures and theories, data granularity, descriptive statistics, data integration, data mastering, and business analysis and reporting) to inform decisions.Analyze, model and test assumptions about a business question through a broad range of data analysis tools; garner insights; and present complex concepts in a simple, visual way to guide decision making. Ask business questions that will enable the use of data to uncover new insights that can give the business a competitive advantage. Procure, lead and apply patient affordability data assets in order to measure programs, innovates new solutions, and enhance net sales potential.Respond to the ad hoc needs of internal business partners. Asks good questions to uncover needs and opportunities (e.g., business questions to be answered, possible challenges, variances, etc.). Takes ownership to get answers or solve problems.Enable the Patient Affordability Center of Excellence (PACE) team to use innovative data assets to uncover new insights that can give the business a competitive advantage, thoroughly measure affordability programs, and enhance net sales capability.Exhibit subject matter expertise on copay data and patient affordability capabilities in the marketplace and be able to answer questions from PACE teammates, Lilly Brands, and Lilly USA LeadershipDisplay knowledge of Lilly processes, systems and procedures (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Excel Power Query, MS Fabric, SQL Tech@Lilly project governance process, Agile project management, Teams, LAN, SharePoint, Outlook, etc.).Source data from vendors; establish and maintain vendor data contract terms and conditions; and lead vendor data integration and issue resolution efforts.Work closely with Tech@Lilly, BI&A, LPS, LVA internal and field colleagues, and brand partners to: (1) Set direction and build a centralized data strategy for the stewardship, usage, and the further development of copay data platforms. (2) Assist with data stewardship and data quality by developing a systematic approach for identifying and resolving data quality issues and monitoring their solution. (3) Collaborate with analytics peers to integrate data sets across platforms and to build a 360-degree view of the customer’s experience. (4) Demonstrate forward thinking and ability to take a broad approach toward data integration, use cases and application development. (5) Respond to the ad hoc needs of internal business partners.Basic RequirementsBachelor’s degree; technical focus preferred (e.g., economics, business analytics, computer science, finance, etc.)Previous related (i.e, technical business, per above) experienceQualified candidates must be authorized to be legally employed in the United States. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$57,750 - $129,800Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
